Family Physiotherapy Centre (FPC) has been providing professional service to patients in Eastern Ontario since 1999. FPC is a dynamic forward thinking Ottawa physiotherapy service provider that works closely with you, your family doctor and other health care professionals to provide the most comprehensive rehabilitation services. Our mission is to help every client Minimize their pain and to maximize their mobility through Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Reflexology and Nutritional Programs of Care that encompass education, rehabilitation and more importantly sustainable results in both their recovery and mitigating the risks of recurrence.
Family Physiotherapy Centre is comprised of 3 divisions, namely:
- Orthopedic and Sport Injuries.
- Senior's Health & Mobility Program (Long Term Care and Retirement Homes)
- Forever Young Physiotherapy and Fitness (Senior's Community Outreach Program)
Our OHIP Designated Physiotherapy Clinics are located at our Westgate and Bank and Heron location.
FPC is recognized as a leader in education and has affiliations with a number of universities across Canada. FPC is also very active in research and has assisted in pushing the envelope in developing new rehabilitation techniques and strategies.

Fall Prevention Program
The Fall Prevention Program addresses the most common fall risk factors within a multi-disciplinary approach whereby each of the risk factors is assessed and form part of our overall program. Emphasis is put on both prevention and education which focus on sustainable and measurable Outcome Measures. Our Fall Prevention Program is designed to deliver one on one care and group activities such as exercise programs, walking programs and healing yoga.

Ultimately, a Physiotherapist main focus is reduction of pain and correction of dysfunction and injury.
Sport Conditioning and Wellness Centre
The Sport Conditioning and Wellness Centre challenges the athlete with 10 fully equipped power racks with key functional training tools including, dumbbells, balance boards, BOSUs, stability balls, multi resistance tubing, and benches complimented with a barrage of speed, agility and quickness tools such as ladders, hurdles, resisted and assisted speed harnesses, parachutes, cones, and power striders.
